Authorities will only sanction the use of such drugs if they can find a way of removing all the fun & pleasure derived from taking them.
Although only a very casual dope smoker (tried a J for the first time in years a week or so ago), I do believe that use - as opposed to abuse - could be very beneficial to a large (and, apparently growing) section of society - in fact, I can see the UK government following the path many others have taken and decriminalising cannabis, not because they've now decided that it's relatively harmless, but because it could save them (but not the tax payer) a fortune in mental health management.

It’s very therapeutic for me and gives me good insight into my adhd, when I’m tripping thoughts tend to come consecutively rather than concurrently.
I’m convinced hallucinogens are the key to the neuropharmacutical management of mental health disorders. If anyone has money to invest it’s worth looking into

Psychedelics might be a view into the real world. Very very interesting subject and I’d love to try them in a controlled environment. Lots and lots of proper scientific investigation into their effects in the last 10-15 years which is revolutionising insights into consciousness.

Many moons ago now, but I had the classic Bill Hicks experience on LSD in the 90s. It was a superb, albeit mental and out of body experience.
I get that for some it has a very different effect. But that was mine.
I did lose about 24 hours of my life. But we lived near Ilford at the time, so that was money and distraction well spent.

Brilliant for the first few hours but goes on forever . Not done since 96 , mushrooms better don't last forever.

I’ve got to be the only person on earth who’s has no idea how to get drugs or get to know a drug dealer.
I’d like to know one just so I could try Mushrooms or DMT.
